Speed Up Mobile Conversations By Telling People Your Battery Is Dying

Speed Up Mobile Conversations By Telling People Your Battery Is DyingEveryone knows at least one person that takes forever to get to the point. If you find yourself on a phone call that's taking forever, or a text message session of twenty questions, Lifehack.org suggests telling your conversation partner that your phone is dying to skip to the good stuff.

The site actually recommends beginning every conversation this way, though if you're saying that to people you contact every day, eventually the story might lose its believability. However, if you're in a rush and need to speed things along, the dying battery excuse is perfect. It's a little white lie that's unlikely to offend?it happens to us all?and still allows you to talk at length again when you "get to a charger."
